Ich suche Pilze! Jetzt ist doch die Zeit dafür.
I‘m looking for mushrooms! It‘s their season.
Oh, ich glaube da drüben sehe ich einen.
Oh, I think I spotted one over there.
Er ist groß. Ich weiß nicht, ob er giftig ist. Tantchen hat ja gesagt man kann jeden Pilz essen, aber manche nur einmal im Leben.
It‘s tall. I have no idea if it is poisonous. I heard Auntie say, you can eat every mushroom, but some only once in a lifetime.
Hmmm das Leben könnte dadurch viel kürzer werden… ich lasse auch diese hübschen Pilze lieber hier.
Weeellll live could be much shorter that way…. I‘ll better leave these pretty fungi here, too.

They do look so pretty - but I don't know enough about mushrooms to tell if you can eat these twice. They say if you are not certain, don't pick white mushrooms and stay away from specimens growing on wood...
