Der Scout der drei Könige reitet auf der Suche nach dem großen Stern durch die Landschaft, vorbei am gefallenen Götzen.

The three kings‘ scout is riding, in search of the large star, through the landscape, passing the fallen idol.

Hübsch sieht das aus, so bewohnt!

It does look pretty, so lived in!

 

Aber wer ist das schon wieder?

Schleich dich! Also wenn man nicht ständig aufpasst…

Milo in Liliput

Es ist Zeit, die Weihnachtskrippe aufzubauen.

It‘s time to set up the Nativity scene.

Milo fühlt sich in der kleinen Landschaft wie Gulliver. Noch nicht fertig, aber das wird hübsch.

In the little landscape, Milo feels like Gulliver. Not finished yet, but it‘s going to be pretty.

Aber wer macht sich hier breit auf der Suche nach Futter? Die drei Heidschnucken waren nicht eingeladen! Sie werden noch alles zertrampeln!

But who has invaded here, looking for fodder? No one invited the three German heaths! They will trample over everything.

Husch! Raus mit euch!

Sorry Meister Ochs. Jetzt sind sie brav, und gleich nehme ich sie mit.

Brav? Hoffentlich haben die Schnucken das verstanden.

Zweimal schwarze Locken / Twice black curls

 

Es wird immer kühler – aber Hunde wünschen sich Bewegung, und Pferde auch.

It‘s getting chillier day by day – but dogs like their exercise, and so do horses.

De Niro, Eve und Ostwind verschaffen sich diese Bewegung. Das Wetter ist heute besonders biestig! Eve wünscht sich, sie hätte das Cape mitgenommen.

De Niro, Eve and Ostwind are getting some exercise. Today‘s weather is notably beastly! Eve regrets she didn‘t bring the cape.

Huch! Jetzt sieht sie wohl doppelt! Da sind zweimal schwarze Locken.

Now! She must have double vision! There are twice black curls.

De Niro hat Swapi Schaf aufgestöbert. Es ist mal wieder ausgebüxt.

De Niro has come across Swapi sheep. It‘s gone astray again.

Ihr zwei! Wir gehen jetzt alle nach Hause. Ich möchte heiße Schokolade.

You two! We‘ll all return home right now. I‘m craving for hot chocolate.

Pudel und Schafe mögen keine Schokolade, aber sie haben es gern gemütlich warm. Die beiden sind einverstanden!

Poodles and sheep don‘t care for chocolate, but they like it warm and cosy. They both agree!

Der Winter naht / Winter is coming

Es ist kälter geworden. Eve hat sich von den Käthe Kruses ein Cape geliehen.

It‘s getting colder. Eve has borrowed a cape from the Käthe Kruses.

Im Garten wartet Karl darauf, ins Haus gebracht zu werden. Frost könnte ihn töten!

In the garden, Karl is waiting for someone to take him inside. Frost might kill him!

Meine Kapuze ist nicht so hoch wie deine spitze Mütze – aber sind wir nicht ein prächtiges Paar?

Pilze suchen / Looking for mushrooms

Heute ist ein eher düsterer Tag, aber es ist trocken.

Today, it‘s quite gloomy, but dry.

Eve ist im Wald unterwegs. Sie sieht sehr beschäftigt aus. Was machst du da?

Eve is on her way in the forest. She seems preoccupied. What are you doing here?

Ich suche Pilze! Jetzt ist doch die Zeit dafür.

I‘m looking for mushrooms! It‘s their season.

Oh, ich glaube da drüben sehe ich einen.

Oh, I think I spotted one over there.

Er ist groß. Ich weiß nicht, ob er giftig ist. Tantchen hat ja gesagt man kann jeden Pilz essen, aber manche nur einmal im Leben.

It‘s tall. I have no idea if it is poisonous. I heard Auntie say, you can eat every mushroom, but some only once in a lifetime.

Hmmm das Leben könnte dadurch viel kürzer werden… ich lasse auch diese hübschen Pilze lieber hier.

Weeellll live could be much shorter that way…. I‘ll better leave these pretty fungi here, too.

Spaß im Herbst / Autumn fun

Der Herbst kann auch Spaß machen!

Autumn can be fun!

Greta und Richthofen flitzen durch den Wald. Endlich ist es dafür nicht mehr zu heiß.

Greta and Richthofen are dashing through the forest. At last, it is not too hot for that.

Dieses Pferd kann rennen!

This horse can run!

Am Feldrand geht es weiter. Der langärmlige Pullover ist gerade richtig für Greta.

On they go along the fields. The long sleeved sweater is just right for Greta.

Aber jetzt ist es Zeit für den Heimweg – sonst brauche ich einen Regenmantel!

But now it‘s time to turn home – else I‘ll need a raincoat!
