Ostern rückt näher / Easter approaching

Wir waren die ganze Woche vor Ostern im Zwergenhaus. Ohne unser Zutun hat sich im Wintergarten etwas verändert.

We spent the whole week before Easter at the Gnome Home. Without doing much, there were changes in the conservatory.

Nicht nur, dass die Jungs neue Pullover bekamen...
Guck mal Marty! Die Zweige sehen ganz anders aus! Wie hat Mami das in der kurzen Zeit hingekriegt? Zauberei!

Apart from the boys getting new sweaters...
Look Marty! The twigs look entirely different! How did Mummy do that in so little time? It's magic!

Ich hab gar nicht gesehen dass sie an den Zweigen überhaupt was gemacht hat.

I haven't even seen her doing anything with those twigs.

Aber im Gartencenter hat sie mal wieder die Beherrschung verloren.

But she got carried away again in the garden center.

Unterdessen in der Küche:

Meanwhile in the kitchen:

Zweige! Blumen! Zauberei! Jungs... Ich hab das wirklich Wichtige gefunden.

Twigs! Flowers! Magic! Boys... I found what really counts.

Die Ostereier!  / The Easter eggs!

  1. Well I left a long comment then lost it! The flowers look beautiful in the conservatory and so do the eggs in the kitchen...a very colourful Easter indeed :)

    1. A shame you lost the longer comment, but a short one is appreciated too, of course! The flowers looked beautiful even in the garden centre, so I had to have them all...

  2. I love that the Catkins came into colour just in time for Easter and the boys wondering how you did it! The view out the window in picture two looks wonderful.
I love your bowl of small plants in lovely colours and an escape to the garden centre is always a treat :)
And a lovely bowl of brightly coloured Easter eggs to finish. A Great post from the gnome house :)

    1. The view from the GnomeHome is always beautiful, even when it's raining - it's the view we bought.
Garden centres are to me now what a toy shop was when I was younger, only there is more money in my pocket... so, more of it changes hands...
