Mitbringsel / Souvenir

Ich kam in Mähring diesmal nicht viel zum Stricken. Ich habe Ausreden: das Licht im Hotelzimmer war nicht gut, die Kurse lagen so dass das Abendessen sehr spät stattfand - aber eigentlich war ich einfach faul.
Ein Set hab ich aber geschafft, denn ein Mädchen wartete zu Hause schon darauf.

I didn't find much time for knitting this year in Mähring. There are several reasons: the light in the hotel room was dim, the coaching was scheduled so supper was always very late, but first of all: I was too lazy.
But I finished one set, as there was a girl at home waiting for it.

Die wunderschöne Ygritte kam in einem braunen Cordkleid und hatte ein blaues zum Wechseln. Und weil ich dachte, sicher ist ihr der Cord langweilig, habe ich bei Shelly das hübsche lange Kleid von Jo Firth für sie gekauft. Es hat aber kurze Ärmel. Sie brauchte also eine Strickjacke.

Lovely Ygritte came in a brown cord dress and brought a blue one to change. I thought she probably was bored senseless of cords, so I bought from Shelly's used clothes page the pretty long dress by Jo Firth for her. It's short sleeved, so she needed a cardigan.

Und eine Mütze, um den Pony zur Raison zu bringen. Bazille meint aber, am aller dringendsten braucht sie Dackel!

The hat is needed to tame her fringe a little. Bazille believes, most of all she needs dachshunds!
