Scarlett didn't want to believe winter has returned.
Natürlich konnte ich den schönen warmen Pelzmantel der Mädchen auf die schnelle nicht finden. Böse Mami! Scarlett musste sich den Mantel einer großen Schwester leihen. Er gehört meiner AM 1894, ist also antik - aber immer noch warm.
But when she climbed out of the car in the forest, she could see it.
Of course, I couldn't find the girls' nice warm fur coat. Bad Mummy! Scarlett had to borrow big sister's coat. It belongs to my AM 1894, it's antique. But it is still warm.
Kein bisschen Grün! Nur kahle Äste.
Not a hint of green! Just bare branches.
Ich geh zurück zum Auto!
From here, you can't see a sign of spring either.
I'll go back to the car!
Thank goodness Scarlet found a coat to wear ! The weather is so cold for this time of year and every time it tries to get warmer they tell us another cold snap is coming!!

She was back in the car very quickly! And yes the antique coat suits her nicely, and it was warm and cosy.
LöschenIt seems like this is the winter that just won't go away. Lots of cold and snow here in the U.S. as well (of course our winters here in Minnesota are legendary for being long and harsh). Everyone here in Gregoropolis is waiting for the flowers to return.

LöschenI've heard you always get long and cold winters in Minnesota - but here, near Stuttgart, we are not used to them, and don't want to get to!
Spring seems to be a long time coming here too, but thankfully no snow like yours! WOW poor Scarlett, she must have got a really chilly shock when she got out of the car but thank goodness you had the coat there for her....and a very nice coat it is too.

A week or so later, it looks much nicer. I hope this will last now. Looking forward to next winter around coming Christmas, but not earlier...
