When the sun shines on it, the conservatory gets warm quickly. That may cause problems in summer, but now it is very comfortable.
So Felix could be hoaxed from the living room.

The conservatory will be lovely for Spring, Autumn and Winter but maybe a little too warm in summer, but I'm sure the cacti will just love it! We used to have a conservatory in the UK and I loved to sit there when it was horrible outside and still it was nice and warm. I think if we had one here though, we'd be cooked at the first sign of the sunshine!

The problem is, the conservatory used to be a large balcony, and when the sellers converted it, they omitted shading outside. There only is a marquee inside, which won't help much in summer.... we'll probably ask someone to install outside shading, but they will need a very large ladder! The conservatory is on second floor, hence the wonderful view...
LöschenLooks like Mum's been very busy Felix working in the conservatory. How lovely to have one, I've always fancied having one but we are south facing so it would get too hot!
