Blumen! Endlich! / Flowers! At last!

This is how our decorated Easter breakfast table looked:

Aber auch zu Hause hat sich was getan.

But at home, there were changes, too.

I shouldn't have left the watering can outside in winter. A little water had accumulated inside, then frost came, and off went the bottom in two places. But it makes a very pretty flower pot.

On Shelly's site, a few weeks ago a Honey Blonde in an almost identical APFS dress sold very quickly. Honey had to try if that dress suits her, too. It does!
Her shoes are vintage.

The chess flowers are new residents in our garden. I laid the bulbs last autumn.

Die gefallen mir! / I like them!

  1. What a pretty girl and sweet dress. The table looks great with those lovely flowers and yes, the watering can does make a good place for the flowers, I like unusual flower 'pots' :)

  2. What a festive table, i like the floral centerpiece. That's a very pretty dress. I love the honey blond girls. I wish they had used that color on boys as well.

  3. I just love what you have done with the watering can after it became unfit for its original purpose. I'm always attracted by the unusual.
    Very tempting Easter breakfast table.
Such a pretty honey blonde Sasha enjoying your Spring garden.

  4. I love your Easter table arrangement. Your Honey blonde girl , Honey, is lovely and the red dress by APFS looks lovely and bright on her.

I love that you did not waste the broken watering can and used it for the garden as a planter.

Your photos make me believe that we may get some better weather soon!

  5. Thank you all!
Yes it paid to bring a few more flowers from the garden centre than intended, the centerpiece, made from an old roasting pan, looked so lovely - and the flowers were not wasted, they all went into our front garden at home.
Though I do not like the eye painting on the Honey Blondes much, I love that hair colour.
