Kein Schreibfehler – die Cousins hatten eine Idee wo man noch nach der Boggelhöhle suchen kann: im Hutewald Halloh bei Bad Wildungen, wo es sehr alte Buchen gibt. Tatsächlich hatten wir im Herbst ein paar Mal in der Nähe geparkt.
Not a spelling mishap – the cousins made a suggestion where else to look for the boggel‘s cave: in the pastoral forest called Halloh close to Bad Wildungen, a place known for its ancient beech trees. And we certainly did park several times close by in autumn!
Dieser Baum sieht aus als könne man ihn nach dem Weg fragen und eine Antwort kriegen, finden Caleb und Clara.
This tree looks as if you could ask it directions and get an answer, Caleb and Clara think.
Er ist fast ein bisschen gruslig, meinen Milo und Scarlett. Aber Scheppso ist auf einmal ganz aufgeregt. Hier muss es sein!
Milo and Scarlett feel it almost looks sort of creepy. But Scheppso, all of a sudden, gets excited. It has to be here!
Er könnte recht haben. Hier ergibt auf einmal sogar seine seltsame Farbe einen Sinn.
He could be right. Here, even his funny colours make sense.
Na dann, tschüs kleiner Boggel. Vergiss uns nicht!

Der Abschied fällt den Kindern schwer – aber was ist das?
Parting is not easy for the children – but what‘s that?
Zwei weitere Boggel sind hier – Scheppsos Familie! Ihm ist peinlich dass er sich so gründlich verirren konnte, aber sie sind glücklich ihn wiederzusehen.
Two other boggels are here – Scheppso‘s family! He feels quite embarrassed for getting lost so thoroughly, but they are happy to have him back.
Und hier ist endlich die lang gesuchte Höhle. Was für eine Freude!
And, at last, here we have the much sought after cave. That‘s bliss!

Wir müssen zwar gerade nicht vor dem Regen Schutz suchen, aber Klettern macht immer Spaß.

It's a wonderful place - sadly, in the tourist season, it's quite popular, so the boggels have to hide real well!

LöschenThose are some fierce looking trees. They look like the kind that would throw their own apples at you. I'm glad Scheppso made it back home.
AntwortenLöschenThey are ancient - it's a romantic place, even a little spooky in winter. Some of them are oaks, so they certainly throw acorns at you!
