keine Waldgrotte / no forest grotto

Am Mittwoch wollten wir eine Rundwanderung zur "Waldgrotte" machen, eine Wallfahrtskapelle bei Rieggis. Leider war unser Wanderführer ein bisschen unbestimmt, die Beschilderung hörte irgend wann einfach auf, und auf der Karte waren viel weniger Wege eingezeichnet als es in Wirklichkeit gab.

On Wednesday we planned a hiking tour to the "forest grotto", a pilgrimage chapel in the forest near Rieggis. Unfortunately our guide book was a little unspecific on its whereabouts, the signs stopped after a while, and on the map, there were much less paths than in reality.

Und so wanderten wir....

So we hiked....

....... und wanderten - ein Rundweg war es tatsächlich, nur die Waldgrotte haben wir leider nicht gefunden.

... and hiked - it was a beautiful tour, with nice views and some shadow in the forest, but we never found the grotto.

Aber weil es sehr heiß wurde, waren wir auch ganz froh, bald zurück am Auto zu sein. Notso ist auf die Bank geklettert, auf der wir unsere Getränke alle gemacht haben, und bewundert einen großen Farn.

But since it got hotter that day, we were relieved to be back at our car after a while. Here Notso has climbed the bank we had a rest on, to admire a large fern.
