Es ist schon schade: eigentlich waren sie mal als Kinderspielzeug gedacht. Leider sind die handgemachten Stoff Käthe Kruse Puppen inzwischen so teuer, dass sie fast nur noch von Sammlern gekauft werden. Früher trugen KK Puppen die jeweils aktuelle Kindermode, praktische Sachen ohne Firlefanz. Seit die Zielgruppe eher ältere Damen als junge Kinder sind, stecken die schönen Puppen meistens in „Landhausstil“. Ich qualifiziere mich zwar fast schon als ältere Dame – aber mein Stil ist das nicht!
It's a shame: they once were meant to be a children's toy. But sadly the hand made fabric Käthe Kruse dolls have become so pricey, they are almost completely bought by collectors. In the old days, KK dolls used to wear contemporary children's garments, practical no frills pieces. Since the manufacturer's target group have become elderly ladies rather than young kids, the wonderful dolls usually are made to dress in “country style”. I believe I already qualify as elderly lady – but this is not my style at all !
Hier versucht Gina, zusammen mit Ziege Zicky, bukolisch auszusehen. Das Kleid ist wohl nicht original, aber sie hatte es dabei und es trifft den Stil.

Dabei ist eine Hose so viel praktischer, um mit Foxi Gassi zu gehen! Und: gibt es hier nicht irgendwo auch Pferde???
But, honestly, trousers are so much more practical to walk Foxi! And: did I understand correctly there are horses somewhere close by????
It's very much the same with Sasha dolls. I think Sasha Morgenthaler would be shocked by how much her 'affordable' factory-made dolls sell for today. I also like my girls in simple dresses that are not too frilly, though imagine real little girls rarely wear dresses at all anymore. Trousers are definitely more practical for horseback riding. Who really wants to ride side saddle?
AntwortenLöschenThis is the problem these days but even new dolls cost quite a bit. And I agree about frilly clothing, who wears these things or puts their children in them.
AntwortenLöschenMy little granddaughter is always in leggings and t shirts and only wears a dress rarely and they are not frilly :) and if you are riding you need a nice strong pair of trousers ;)
