Wir waren in Bonndorf. Dort gibt es nicht nur lecker Schwarzwälder Schinken, dort gibt es auch ein Schloss.
Friday already was our last day. Holidays never last long enough!
We drove to Bonndorf. You can buy delicious Black Forest ham there, and visit the castle.
In dem Schloss sind die Narrenstuben untergebracht, eine Ausstellung zur alemannischen Fastnacht. Im Erdgeschoss hat es über 500 originalgetreu kostümierte Figuren, ungefähr in Sasha-Größe, und im Untergeschoss um die 300 original Masken verschiedener Zünfte. Da hat sich die Anreise gelohnt.
Drinnen haben wir nicht fotografiert.
The castle hosts the "Narrenstuben", a large exhibition of Alemannic Fastnacht. On ground floor are more than 500 figures, ca. Sasha size, in true to original costumes, in the basement is a collection of appr. 300 original masks. That's worth a visit.
We didn't take photos inside.
Aber im Japangarten. OK allzu japanisch sieht der nicht aus, schön ist er trotzdem.
But we took pics in the Japanese garden. Well it doesn't look all that Japanese, but it's lovely anyway.

Wir hatten zwar keine Fotos im Schloss gemacht, aber wir konnten im Shop etwas sehr Nützliches für die Sashas kaufen.

Aber Candy, im Caravan regnet es doch nicht!
Samstag Morgen nahmen wir unser rollendes Haus an den Haken, und es ging wieder nach Hause. Schade eigentlich.

But Candy, it doesn't rain inside the caravan!
On Saturday morning, we hitched our rolling little house and pulled it home. Such a shame...
Sweet Candy looks like she had a lovely time...and is prepared for all weather with her umbrella that can be used for shade if it is sunny or to stop the rain.
