Dafür aber jemand anderes, den ich schon lange gesucht hatte: ein blonder Schildkröt Hans!
Last Saturday the Ladenburg Summer toy auction took place. Before I drove there, I could promise my family I wouldn't come home with yet another Sasha - none on offer.
But someone else I had been looking for quite a while: a blonde Schildkröt Hans!
He looks around on our patio. Hans is 45cm tall and a little chubbier than a Sasha. So no clothes swapping!
Die Sachen, die er anhat, sind nicht original, sondern handgemacht. Die kurze Hose hat gestrickte Hosenträger. Die Schuhe sind neuer.
His outfit is hand made, not Schildkröt original. The shorts have knitted suspenders! The shoes are younger.
Something new is flowering in the raised bed...
Well you kept your promise! ;-) Hans is very cute, what a great character he seems to be. I don't think I have seen these with white hair before. I love his outfit as well.
AntwortenLöschenYes I was very good ;) There are also Hans dolls with blond hair and brown eyes, which I like even more - but my Hans has the prettiest blue eyes!

AntwortenLöschenMost of the Schildkröt dolls are girls, and there is one unisex, Christel, who was sold dressed as a boy or a girl. The Hans mould was from the beginning meant to be a boy. I'm always happy to find a boy doll.
LöschenHe's wonderful! I like these dolls for their nice faces. I think the knitted outfit is most suiting to him and cleverly made by someone. You made a great purchase!

AntwortenLöschenThat auction is so exciting - you are actually there, in a room full of collectors and dealers, and have to lift a card to place a bid, not press a button on your computer... I've been taking part regularly for more than 10 years now. The auctions for the not-so-rich are held twice a year. It's great fun!

The poor chap probably hadn't seen flowers for years! So he seems very happy to live here now, and he already made friends.
