Breeze

Ta- da! Fertig!

Ta-da! Finished!
All my early Götz are Slate Eyes. I didn't manage to snap up one with another painting style yet. I was very sad when I found out that pretty and special Holly was on Shelly's site - and had already found a new home.

So, out with the acrylic colours. I practised the Ochre Highlight Eyes first on paper...

... and afterwards I braved the doll.
Breeze seems interested in guitar lessons. I'm not certain about that dress, but I didn't finish her own in time - I had thought her cat litter treatment would take a while. And then she didn't need it!
Restring, as usual, by Dr NeverUschi and Dr Tom.

Today it's raining again. But yesterday it was quite warm, time to examine the flowers waiting for their pots.

The human hair wig is by Georgette Bravot, France. They are pricey but very good quality, and there are sometimes special offers.
And her name? Because a little fresh air was sufficient to remove any odours. Breeze smells almost like new!

  2. You did a fabulous job! Her eyes look exactly like the early Gotz ochre eyes. I like her wig; it reminds me of the Limited Edition Velvet wig, which I've always thought was especially nice. Well done!

    1. I have a Velvet living with me, but Candy already was rewigged by her previous mum. Maybe I should get her a sister with original wig - noooo not another one...

    1. I'm happy you don't mind me giving an English girl Götz eyes - but for someone with the letter ö on a standard computer keyboard, it was the logical thing to do...

  4. You did a fantastic job with the eyes and wig. She is so pretty in that dress, too. Good choice of the near Breeze; it suits her to the ground.

    1. Thank you! I thought maybe the dress is too pale for her - I made her another which is more colourful.

  5. What a beautiful girl and her eyes are just perfect. I love the dress too; the yellow centres in the pansies bring out the ochre flecks in her eyes. It suits her hair, eyes and complexion very well :)

    1. You're right! I didn't notice the colour of the pansies' centres, I only looked at the purple petals.

  6. WOW you did a great job on the eyes Ursula, she looks so different and very pretty. The wig suits her too, those wigs are good, I bought one for a BJD. Dress suits her but if she is going to be a guitar player, maybe she needs something different....or perhaps you could buy her a harp!!! ;)
