Server Reset
Letzten Freitag wurden um 13:00 alle unsere Computer im Büro runtergefahren: Server Reset! Ich konnte so früh aber nicht nach Hause, ich brauche meine Überstunden, also hütete ich das Telefon, und endlich wurde dabei die Mütze fertig.
Last Friday, at 1 p.m. they shut down all the computers in our office for a server reset. That was far too early for me to go home: I need my overtime! So I sat by the phone, and at last I finished the dolly hat.
Axel trägt gerade den Pullover, der dazu gehört. Deshalb bekam er die Mütze.
Axel is wearing the matching sweater. So I gave the hat to him.
Schadet ihm gar nicht: seine Haare können einen kleinen Dämpfer gebrauchen.
This won't harm him: his hair needs a little taming anyway.
Axel freut sich: zu seinem Original Alberto Outfit gehörte schließlich auch eine Mütze.
Strickst du jetzt einen Schal, Mami?
Axel is delighted. His original Alberto outfit came with a knitted hat, too.

I agree, it's a great color for him. I think that sweaters for little boys can sometimes be a bit drab.

Definitely need a hat here, as I am sure he will there, to keep his head warm. Lovely hat and sweater, he looks very smart indeed.
AntwortenLöschenI bought this yarn last year, and it is softer than sock wool and the garments feel wonderful, but it is also a little difficult to work with, as it is loosely spun.
AntwortenLöschenI had another ball in shades of brown, and Axel wore that sweater last year. Now he gave it to Davy - so the kids learn to share!
