Aaaah Mortimer kennt den Trick... Ich erinnere mich an unseren Dackel, und dieser Trick funktionierte bei ihm nur 2-3mal. Danach pflegte er allein nach Haus zu laufen wenn er uns verloren hatte. Keine gute Idee bei all den vielen Autos... da hatte er laufen an der Leine gewonnen.

Uuuh Mortimer knows the trick... I remember our dachshund and this trick only works two or three times. After that, he uses to return home alone when he lost us. Not a good idea with all the traffic... so he won the leash.
Helene looks splendid and seems to have much fun! Thought she must be a jumper and - she is!!!
Well Milo was the first Gregor who came to live with us. He should know more about dachshunds than any other child.

We would run ahead and hide from our westies in the woods when they were ignoring us, then they would come rushing past our hiding place but would quickly stop and find us !
It worked with our dachshunds when they were young. Now, as adults, they know they'll find us everywhere using their nose, so there is no rush returning...
LöschenAt the moment, we try this with my daughter's little poodle. He is a nice dog, but still very young and jaunty. This method works fine with him.
