Die Fahrt zum Zwergenhaus war diesmal eine Reise in den Winter.
This time, the journey to the GnomeHome meant a trip into winter.
So eine Menge Schnee haben Mortimer und Eve noch nie gesehen! Das ist fast zu viel, da kann man kaum mehr laufen. Sag mal,hatten wir nicht einen Hund dabei?
Mortimer and Eve have never before seen such an amount of snow! That‘s almost too much, that makes it nearly impossible to walk. Say, didn‘t we bring a doggie?

Oh! Snoby has slid into a hole in the snow! Is he stuck there?
Nein – als die Kinder ihn anfeuern kann er sich selbst befreien. Braver Pudel!
No – when the kids encourage him, he is able to free himself. Good poodle!

Wow! That is a lot of snow ! We never ever get anywhere near that amount where I live in the East of England !

Well this amount is very unusual even for the Kellerwald, which is colder in winter. It was more than 30cm, and after trying to park our car in front of the house we had to dig it out cause it stuck... afterwards, we had to dig out the driveway - a lot of digging for a little parking! There should be a law against snow heights of more than 10cm in places I use to dwell... but the sight was fantastic.
