neues altes Kleid / new vintage dress

Heute mal kein Regen! Honey durfte mit ins Leudelsbachtal.
Obwohl wir in der Metropolregion Stuttgart / Mittlerer Neckar wohnen, ist doch stellenweise noch Landschaft übrig.

No rain today! Honey could come with us into the Leudelsbachtal.
We live in the metropolitan region of Stuttgart, but there are still patches of landscape around.

Honey kletterte sofort auf eine Weinbergmauer-  

Honey climbed a vineyard wall -

 - und genießt die Aussicht auf die Markgröninger Kläranlage.

- to enjoy the view of the Markgröningen sewage plant.

 OK eher nützlich als schön, aber wenigstens riecht man sie hier oben nicht!

Im hohen Gras / In the high grass

Das Kleid ist nur für Honey neu. Genäht wurde es vor mehr als 20 Jahren von der inzwischen verstorbenen Tante meines Mannes, gedacht für eine etwas größere Puppe. So sitzt es an einer Sasha schön weit und luftig.
Tati hat es komplett von Hand genäht. Sie hat auch ein paar Schuhe dazu gemacht, aus einer alten weißen Handtasche, aber leider passen die Honey beim besten Willen nicht, und so hat sie praktische Turnschuhe an. 

This dress is only new to Honey. It was sewn more than 20 years ago by my husband's late aunt. She made it for a slightly larger doll, so on a Sasha, it is roomy and airy.
Tati sewed the dress completely by hand. She also made a pair of shoes out of whithe leather from an old handbag. But they don't fit Honey at all, so she's wearing practical trainers.

Rast mit Kumpels, gut bewacht! / A rest with friends, well-guarded!

Für die einen ist es Unkraut, für mich sind es Blumen!
