Jenny in Huglfing 1

Übers Wochenende hatten mein Sohn und ich in Bayern ein Seminar zu geben (Begleithundeausbilder im Deutschen Teckelklub). Es ging von Freitag bis Sonntag. Damit es sich auch lohnt, sind wir schon am Donnerstag losgefahren und am Montag zurück.
Jenny war mit dabei.

Last weekend, my son and me were in Bavaria to train companion dog trainers at the German dachshund club. The event went from Friday to Sunday, but we stayed there from Thursday to Monday, so we almost had a short holiday.
Jenny joined us.

Erste Hunderunde bei Merklingen. Wir waren sehr früh losgefahren, um vor dem Berufsverkehr in Stuttgart zu sein, und oben auf der Alb war die Frühstückspause.
Jenny trägt das Ruthdolls Kleid, in dem Candy bei ihrer Ankunft steckte. Ihr steht es fast besser.

First doggie stop near Merklingen. We had started early to avoid Stuttgart commuter traffic, and had breakfast after climbing the Schwäbische Alb.
Jenny has nicked the Ruthdolls dress Candy wore when she arrived. I believe it suits Jenny even better.

Nach Andechs und zum Ammersee haben wir Jenny nicht mitgeschleppt, aber zum allerletzten Zwischenstopp kurz vor dem Ziel, die Kapelle St. Andrä bei Polling, wollte sie mit.

We didn't take Jenny to Andechs or the Ammer lake, but she wanted to join our very last stop, the small church St Andrae near Polling.

Sowas Dummes! Ein Gittertor! Dabei wollte ich mir die Kirche von innen ansehen.

A gate! How annoying! But I wanted to visit this church!

Ich komme nicht an die Klinke, Mama. Kannst du es mal versuchen?

Das mit der Türklinke hat geklappt, aber die eigentliche Kirche ist abgesperrt. Nur zu einem Vorraum ist der Zutritt möglich. 
Mist, auch von den aufgestapelten Möbeln aus bin ich zu klein. Mama so seh ich nichts!

Mum did, but the church was locked. There only was access to a small room with a narrow slot in the wall to peep through.
Bollocks, even from these stapled benches I'm too short. I can't see anything, Mum!!

Das ist der ganze Sehschlitz... aber so geht es!

Und das sieht man durch den Schlitz. Leider verglast, deshalb spiegelt es auf dem Foto.

This is the church's interior. There's thick glass in the peeping slot, so the photo is not the best. 

Auch das andere Gittertor ging auf und zu. Hurra! Wir sind in Bayern.

Mummy also managed the other gate. Yippiee! We're in Bavaria.
