Our destination, the Quernst chapel, is a small church in the middle of the forest.
Es ging die ganze Zeit bergauf! Wie anstrengend.
We had to walk uphill all the way! How tiring.
Die Kapelle sieht ein bisschen aus als wäre sie ursprünglich in H0 geplant worden.
The chapel looks almost as if it had been planned in H0 scale originally.
Vor der Besichtigung ein wenig ausruhen....

Oben ist aber dieser interessante Aussichtspunkt. Auf dem Metallschild steht welche Orte man von hier aus sehen kann.
But on the hilltop is this interesting viewing point. The metal sign tells which places you can see from here.
Innen ist die Quernstkapelle eher schlicht. Aber die Glasfenster machen interessantes Licht.
The inside of the Quernst chapel is quite austere. But the glass windows give interesting light effects.
Davor in der Sonne liegen ist lustiger....
To get some sun is more fun.....
What an interesting building ! Such an unusal shape , I bet it was a serene place to sit inside.

We like to sit beside it, under that roof at the left side - there's a bench, and you can rest there even when it rains.
LöschenIt's a pretty place, and since you can't get there by car, it usually is very quiet.
Very pretty building. It looks both traditional and modern at the same time. That was quite a climb, but fortunately little kids recover fast - not like us older folks!

LöschenThat is such an interesting looking building, it's unreal looking really, like a little gnome home itself. And so tiny from the outside!

It's not large inside, either, but it's used as a church. Last spring there even was a wedding. You can do that, if don't invite too many guests....
