Today is the 4th of July. Axel and our still nameless new kid (who is going to change her looks) send their regards especially to our friends at Gregoropolis!
Du Axel? Warum stehen wir dazu im Hochbeet?
Ahm, Axel? Why do we stand in the raised bed to do this?
Vor der monströsen Kartoffelpflanze?
In front of the monstrous potato plant?
Ist doch klar! Weil so viele großartige Dinge aus Amerika kommen:
Coca Cola, Kaugummi - und Kartoffeln!
Schönen Feiertag!
But that's obvious! Because so many great things come from America:
Coca Cola, chewing gum - and potatoes!
Happy holiday!
I love how Axel and Miss no name yet, look in their stars and stripes! In honour of the American day of Independence.
AntwortenLöschenMiss no name yet, looks to be wearing a Pintucks wig, very nice.
Yes, it's a Pintucks wig. It has never been used so it's quite stiff; I gave it a good soaking now and will treat it with argan oil later to get it smoother. Can't quite remember where it came from - Abeceta, I believe, but I'm not certain. I'm getting old and forgetful!!
LöschenVery smart looking kids. I think white, blue and red make a very pleasing summertime color combination no matter where you live.
AntwortenLöschenAnd not to forget, they are the classic Sasha colours.
LöschenCute and festive outfits. Coke—one of my favorites.
AntwortenLöschenOf mine, too. But I also appreciate the many wonderful things you can do with potatoes. We still wonder if that plant will give us any in fall - or if it is content with growing half a meter, in height as in diameter, and producing loads of leaves!
LöschenI love their outfits, they suit them perfectly :)
