Bayerisches Eisenbahnmuseum / Bavarian railroad museum

Im früheren Rangierbahnhof im Nördlingen gibt es ein sehr lohnendes Eisenbahnmuseum.

Hunde durften mit! Sie waren nicht so beeindruckt, aber natürlich sind sie immer gern dabei. Allerdings bekamen sie durch das ganze Öl und den Rauch furchtbar dreckige Pfoten. Viele der historischen Loks hier werden noch gefahren.

Dogs were allowed! They weren't too impressed, but of course they like to come with us. The oil and smoke made their paws terribly dirty. Several historical locomotives still are moved.

Auch die Drehscheibe funktioniert noch. 

The turntable still works, too.

Manche der abgestellten Loks dürfen bestiegen werden. Cinnamon und Bazi im Führerstand einer Rangierlok.

In den Hallen sind weitere Loks. Im Vordergrund ist eine handbetriebene Draisine. Tja Cinnamon, von selbst fährt die nicht los!

Mit diesem Hebel wurde sie bewegt.
