Es regnet / It's raining

Mit draußen Fotos machen ist nichts, aber Annie und Modesty möchten trotzdem ihre Strickjacken vorführen. Da bleibt nur eins: die Fensterbank in unserem Schlafzimmer.

Impossible to take any photos outside today, but Annie and Modesty want to show their new cardigans. Only solution: the window sill in our bedroom.

Beide Jacken sind nach dem Muster im Sasha-Buch gestrickt (ursprünglich ein Migros-Muster); von oben nach unten, an einem Stück, mit Raglans, Rumpf flach, Ärmel rund. So muss ich fast nichts zusammen nähen!
Ich habe weiße bzw. creme mit selbst musternder Sockenwolle kombiniert.

Both cardis are knitted after a pattern in the Three Anns book (originally a Migros pattern); top down, one piece, with raglans, back and front flat, sleeves round. So I had to sew almost nothing!
I used white or cream sock wool with self patterning. 

Modesty schaut nach unserem Uralt-Alpenveilchen. Es treibt gerade wieder aus - in seinem 27. Jahr!

Modesty looks after our ancient cyclamen. It's just growing again - in its 27th year!

Hurra! Das Rekord-Alpenveilchen lebt noch! Sicher gibt es nicht viele, die so alt sind.

Yippie! The all-time cyclamen is still living! Surely there are not many out there that old.

Eine Model-Pose kann Modesty auch.

Modesty can also do a cool modelling pose.

Annie findet die Bougainvillea interessanter, die heute ins Winterquartier umgezogen ist. Diese Pflanze ist noch jung; ich bekam sie heuer zum Muttertag.

Annie is more interested in the bougainvillea I brought to its winter quarters today. This plant is young; it was a Mother's Day present.

Hol dir bloß keine Läuse! / Don't you catch any lice!

Müsste sie nicht ein bisschen dichter sein? Soll ich ihr Dünger geben?

Shouldn't it grow more densely? May I give it some fertilizer?
