Letztes Mal entdeckten wir am Abreisetag, dass sich ein Brett gelöst hatte. Jetzt wollte Papa das reparieren - aber in den 2 Wochen haben die Wespen ein Nest in der Hütte gebaut!
Deshalb hat er jetzt einen Spalt für sie offen gelassen, mit einem Dach, damit es nicht hinein regnet.
Last time, at the day of our departure we noticed a plank had loosened. Now Daddy wanted to repair it - but the wasps were busy for 2 weeks building a nest inside the shed!
So, he left a gap for them and made a little roof to keep rain off.
Ooooh - das müssen ganz besondere Wespen sein.
Wir wollten uns einfach nicht, wenn wir das nächste Mal den Rasenmäher brauchen, einem wütenden eingesperrten Wespenschwarm gegenüber sehen.

What a kind dad you have Greta to let the wasps have a summer home and be able to come and go easier.

If we're lucky, they are wood wasps... who live only until the end of summer. Afterwards, we can scrap off the nest, and Daddy will very quickly close that gap!
LöschenWe also have a wasp nest near our front door and I'm scared to try getting rid of them because the last time I did try, they swarmed and I got stung and then fell over! LOL I do not like wasps at all!! I hope you're able to get rid of yours soon as they're not like bees, who tend not to sting unnecessarily!!
