...... und alte Stoffe / ... and vintage fabrics

Um mir Material fürs Masken nähen zu geben, ist meine Mutter ihre Restekiste durchgegangen und fand einige Schürzen meiner Oma. So bekamen ein paar Glückliche sehr besondere Mundschützer!
Aber eine besonders schöne Schürze ging an die Sashas. 

My mum went through her fabric stack to find me mask material. She found some aprons that belonged to my grandma. So a few lucky ones got rather special mouth masks!
But one very pretty apron went to the Sashas.

Jenny darf den Trägerrock als erste tragen. Meine Oma war nicht dafür bekannt sich oft etwas Neues zu kaufen. Der Stoff ist mindestens 50 Jahre alt!

Jenny is the first to wear the pinafore dress. My gran never was known for buying new stuff all the time, so the fabric is at least 50 years old!

Mami der Lavendel ist ja weiß! Aber er riecht genau wie die anderen.

Er ist fürs Zwergenhaus. Morgen in der Frühe fahren wir los - dann ist erst mal wieder Schluss mit dem Dauer-Posten.

Ich fand in meinen Stoffen auch ein paar schöne Muster, von denen ich nicht mehr wusste dass ich sie hatte. Milo bekam ein Hemd aus einem davon.

I found some pretty fabrics in my box I had forgotten about. Milo got a shirt from one of those.

Milo hatte immer schon Mut zur Mode.

Milo always had courage for fashion.

Aber die Blümchen hinten hat er zum Glück nicht gesehen.
Er sieht etwas anderes:
